As a Junior Data Scientist, you'll focus on all these activities, but not limited to:

 

·         Cobblestone Energy is a data-driven company. Their analysts understand your industry and deliver key insights. What's their background?

·         Companies need to consider a range of different elements when forecasting their business's finances. This includes future predictions and estimations of factors like wind power generation or demand.

·         Researching new opportunities for trade and implementing them.

·         Cobblestone Energy has extensive expertise with data infrastructure and can help you in any phase of the project. From developing new or existing data infrastructure to making updates to your system, we'll do it all.

 

 

Basic Skill Required for Job:

 

 

You need to have basic programming skills, like Python or MATLAB.

 

Something like a degree or certificate in computer science.

 

A strong academic background in mathematics, including an eagerness to learn new statistical techniques, and a wealth of experience which demonstrates your team-oriented, innovative, and strategic ways of thinking.

 

Familiarity with data visualization tools.

 

Being proactive in your work and having a flexible work mentality.

 

Fascination with data-driven trading and partnering.

 

Fluency in the English language.

Hiring Process:

 

Once you've submitted an application, Cobblestone Energy will evaluate it and ask you to attend some assessments. These will include psychometric tests and a trading simulation.

If you're successful, Cobblestone Energy will invite you for the final round of recruitment which will be a one-week training program.

Cobblestone Energy will cover all relocation costs, so that shouldn't be an obstacle on your path to becoming part of the Affilimate team.

 

Cobblestone Energy offers a full-time role to anyone who completes the Commercial Track Program (CTP).

The CDP is a 7-12 month long rotational program that exposes participants to energy data science, trading, and analytics.

During the CDP, you'll work alongside our seasoned commercial team members to learn market fundamentals and develop strong analytical skills.
